HI.

Doesn't that seem like the most boring greeting you have ever heard? It most definitely does. Truth is, I don't know much about writing. I especially don't know about writing my own opinions down. Yet with all that,  I still took a job today as an opinion writer for "The Vanguard", the school newspaper at The University of South Alabama. This site is mainly just for practice but I welcome anybody to read it.

     It's funny how opinions work. When asked about a specific subject, I can give you a pretty detailed description about how I feel. When told to just write an article about something, I seem to draw a blank. I wonder why that is. I like sports. I LOVE politics. I like fine arts. I like clothes. I like friends though I don't seem to have many, Everything seems to be getting increasingly complicated as I get older. I can't decide if I like it or not. I also can not seem to find an actual topic on what to focus this post on. Hopefully it'll come with practice.

    I have aspirations of becoming president one day. I know it is a pretty unrealistic goal but as far as I'm concerned, there has NEVER been an 18 year old that was deemed " a shooin for president". So maybe I can prove people wrong as I start to get out into the real world. I f i had to side with a political party, I'd be a disappointed democrat.  I'm fully aware that I am not yet fit to discuss finance, especially on the national level. I let people who REALLY know what they're talking about deal with subjects such as budgets, deficits, and taxes for the most part. One day I will be able to discuss all of those things though. However, one thing that I am deemed knowledgeable on is my own social views. As far as I know, there will be no class that I will take called "social opinions" or "The Gay Agenda: Fact of Fiction?" So in future posts, that will definitely be something I will look to discuss.

I think that's it for my first "blog'. I have a felling that I'll be back shortly.
